We Need Your Help!

Youth homelessness is a Community issue.
We provide 29 places for young people to feel safe - 19 of those provide 24/7 care.

We thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to improving the lives of young people on the Gold Coast. We believe that all young people should have a safe and secure home. We work with young people at each stage of their housing journey through supportive case management and innovative programs. Support extends across immediate, transitional, semi-transitional, and community housing opportunities. We need your help, you can support us by:

Financial Donations

There is a serious shortage of beds and quality housing for homeless youth on the Gold Coast.  The Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth uses donations to help provide the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care. We are endorsed by the ATO-DGR1 status. Donations over $2 are tax deductable.

Material Donations

We do gratefully accept gifts that would benefit a teenager 16-19 years and/or a young family. If you wish to match your gift to a young family's ages, contact us at administration 07 5591 3746. We also accept food items for a Christmas lunch/dinner. You can also contribute through Give Now.

Our priority as a service is to support our young people. As such, we appreciate donations that can be dropped to our administration office. We do not do same-day pick up of donated items. Please call to discuss your donation and we will be happy to offer advice on the service most in need of your item/s.

Echo Program

Youth Outreach’s vision for seeing meaningful change involves supporting individuals to develop skills, confidence, purpose, involve communities to be active in the care and development process of young people.

The ECHO Program incorporates the ECHO Challenge encouraging community involvement in the process of developing individuals where community members can volunteer to support the ECHO program. We recognise that people have skills, abilities, areas of expertise, a keen willingness to contribute in supporting young people through difficult times, to promote generosity, acceptance and kindness in communities.

We are looking for role models, influencers, as well as leaders to accept the ECHO Challenge and support the ECHO Program objectives.

Each volunteer will be registered as a Gold Coast ECHO Supporter being recognised for their contribution through media communication and attendance at a Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth Inc. Annual Event.
