Skilling Queenslanders for Work
The Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth Inc. (GCPHY) is a charity with a purpose. We support change in the lives of young people by developing initiatives that provide opportunities that assist them to move towards independence.
We believe that one path doesn’t determine your direction and have been supporting young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness on the Gold Coast for over 40 years.
We have an experienced understanding of the needs of young people and the support required to create pathways to new beginnings.
Work skills traineeships provide paid employment opportunities through funding from the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work program.
Skilling Queenslanders for Work funds not-for-profit community based organisations to deliver projects that respond to the needs of local job seekers and employment opportunities in their area.
This training is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.
