Twenty-two truckloads of concrete have laid the foundations of Bill Hoyer House, marking the first major milestone in its construction. It paves the way for structural works to start on the home at 31 Olsen Avenue, Labrador which will ultimately comprise seven crisis care beds for homeless young people. Nine concreters spent half a day laying the 448sqm slab on Saturday, November 7. Internal and external storm water drainage was completed the week prior by a team of four plumbers and a bobcat driver over two days. A big thank you to Villa World for their continued work on this historic project.
We also extend our thanks to the Gold Coast City Council, and the Queensland State Government. Click here to contribute to the construction of Bill Hoyer House
